Ahmet Özol

He was born in Gönen, Balıkesir in 1945. He completed his art education at Ankara Gazi Education Institute and his education at Marmara University. He stayed in France (Paris) for a year wıth his art scholarship and related program he won from the French Government in 1973.

He retired from Marmara University Atatürk Education Faculty Fine Arts Education Department, where he worked as a professor, in 2010. In January 2012, his book "Basic Values ​​in Art Education and Design" was published. He is still working at Beykent University Faculty of Fine Arts.

He participated in many exhibitions, conferences and art workshops in Turkey and abroad. He was awarded the "Sakuder 2013 Plastic Arts Award" and is an honorary member of the association in Ankara.

He has six works in five museum collections in Turkey. He also has works in the state and K.K.T.C. archives.

He participated in many group exhibitions and realized 36 individual painting exhibitions.

He is a member of the International Plastic Arts Association.
